Terra-cotta Cookware:
All of this cookware can also
be used on gas and electric stoves, and it can also be used
in all types of ovens, including microwaves. However the flat
dishes are better for the latter. The only precaution we suggest
is that people with ceramic stoves taken care to avoid scratching.
All of these products are also dishwasher and freezer safe and
virtually "wipe clean" if soaked in hot water for
a few minutes.
It is important to comply with the instructions on the labels
supplied and soak the products for 5 minutes in warm water before
use, this is a sort of stress relieving operation to overcome
the absolute dryness in the products after firing. After the
first soaking no further soaking is necessary and the products
can be used as normal with proper drying after use.
The crackle glaze appearance that can appear is also normal
and in fact necessary and is the means whereby cleaning is so
easy. These products are authentic terra-cotta cookware they
are very attractive and extremely versatile and represent outstanding
value for money. They will give many years of service. |
